NISEKO · 2026–27
A three-day guided experience for a small group of 4–6 participants. Routes are not fixed in advance and are arranged according to weather, snow, what is open and the ability of the group.
3 days · NISEKO
Session 01
Session 02
Session 03
Each group is confirmed no later than 30 days before day 1. No Camp fee is collected before confirmation.
GUIDING CAMP
Guiding Camp focuses on riding and exploration, mainly in the Niseko area. Skiers and snowboarders can join the same group. Depending on the day, the programme may use backcountry routes accessed on foot or lift-accessed sidecountry routes.
This is not a step-by-step technique course and does not promise a particular resort, route, access method or snow quality. If your main goal is to learn turns or improve movement patterns, a private lesson is a better fit.
DAY 1 — DAY 3
The outline below shows what the three days may cover. It is not a fixed itinerary or a certified avalanche course.
DAY 1
Establishing the safety concepts, equipment skills and communication methods used by the group.
DAY 2
Bringing weather, snow and terrain information into the day's route decisions.
DAY 3
Applying the first two days through practical riding and route discussion.
FIT CHECK
The video is used only to assess whether your current level suits the group. Submitting a video does not mean you have passed, the group is confirmed or a place is held.
GEAR
The following official shop pages list backcountry or touring equipment and may be used as references:
These shops are provided for reference only and are not SnowPlus partners or designated suppliers. SnowPlus does not book, pay for, collect, return, change or cancel rental equipment. Please confirm the items, sizes, prices, stock and rental terms directly with each shop.

GUIDING TEAM
Eden and Kay are public-facing members of the 2026–27 Guiding Camp team. Their training covers route planning, terrain assessment and risk management.
New Zealand SBINZ Snowboard Level 3; New Zealand ASC2; a six-day ISIA Card Level advanced avalanche and mountain-safety course.
Avalanche Canada AST 2; Australian SIS30619 Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership.
The lead for each session is arranged according to SnowPlus's final roster. Sessions are not tied to a named guide and guide requests are not accepted.
HOW IT WORKS
Submitting an enquiry is an application only. It does not mean the group is confirmed, a place is held, a booking exists or a payment obligation has arisen. We confirm group formation no later than 30 days before day 1 and do not collect the Camp fee before the group is confirmed.
Submit an enquiry with the session you are interested in, your discipline and your recent riding experience.
Provide a recent video, riding history and equipment information as requested.
The guiding side reviews group suitability while SnowPlus confirms the session status.
The group is confirmed once 4 suitable applicants have confirmed their intention to join.
After group confirmation, the formal risk disclosure and consent form is sent. Adults sign for themselves; a legal guardian signs for participants under 18.
Once the correct signature and all other conditions are complete, payment information is sent. No payment is taken automatically.
The booking is confirmed after payment is completed within the deadline in the payment notice.
The three days are treated as one complete product. Cancellation timing is calculated from day 1 of the relevant session.
If the original plan cannot proceed because of weather, snow or safety, we first adjust the resort, route or activity content. If a full day cannot be provided, we first work with you to reschedule; if that is not possible, one third, two thirds or the full Camp fee is refunded according to the number of full days not provided. Shortening the programme, turning back or changing route after activities begin for safety reasons is not treated as a full-day cancellation.
This is a plain-language summary. The formal rights and obligations are governed by clause E.11 of the SnowPlus Booking Terms.
